A business combining 20 years experience across property maintenance and development, landscaping, tree surgery and woodland management. Based in East Yorkshire.

Mike Elliott

Mike first started working for himself at the age of 22 as a labourer doing garden maintenance, landscaping and tree surgery. Sub contracting for a landscape gardener, he learnt a lot about plants and horticulture. This encouraged him to enrol at Bishop Burton College to study for a National Diploma in Horticulture and Landscape Gardening. During his time at Bishop Burton College, Mike was a finalist for the Young Horticulturist of the Year.

In 2007 he gained employment with the Forestry Commission in Aviemore as a Forest Craftsman completing further courses and certificates in chainsaw operations, chemical spraying and all-terrain vehicle handling. This led to a job at the Rothiemurchus Estate as a Maintenance and Farm Assistant dealing with estate and property maintenance, forestry and agriculture.

On returning to Yorkshire, Mike started work at SLIC Training as an assessor for young apprenticeships in horticulture, landscaping and environmental conservation, whilst maintaining gardening, tree surgery and landscaping jobs in the weekend.
