Mike Elliott & Tom Spencer have a combined 20 years experience across property maintenance & development,
landscaping, tree surgery and woodland management.
Mikes’ early career included garden maintenance, landscaping and tree surgery. Sub contracting for a landscape gardener, he learnt a lot about plants and horticulture. Mike studied at Bishop Burton College for a National Diploma in Horticulture and Landscape Gardening. During his time at Bishop Burton College, Mike was a finalist for the Young Horticulturist of the Year.

This led to a job at the Rothiemurchus Estate as a Maintenance and Farm Assistant dealing with estate and property maintenance, forestry and agriculture.
On returning to Yorkshire, Mike started work at SLIC Training as an assessor for young apprenticeships in horticulture, landscaping and environmental conservation, whilst also maintaining gardening, tree surgery and landscaping jobs.
From a young age Tom worked with his father, an experienced roofer, gaining the experience and knowledge to repair and lay new roofs.
He began working for his brother covering all aspects of ground works learning to drive diggers as well as other heavy machinery. Part of the ground works included the installation of services such as drainage.
Tom has trained alongside experienced property developers. This work included fitting kitchens, bathrooms, general plumbing, tiling, laminate and hard wood flooring. Plus fitting uPVC Windows and doors and other external works such as decking, fencing and paving.
Through working at Robinson Contract Services he also gained expertise in operating heavy machinery, and loading shovels and tractors in an agricultural environment.
